Huami, a well-known contract manufacturer of Xiaomi Mi Band fitness bracelets, has started selling a new smart watch under its own brand — Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM.
This is an improved version of last year’s Amazfit GTR 2. Now the watch has received eSIM and is able to work as a means of communication without being tied to a smartphone. Fourth-generation 4G cellular communication is supported — receiving and making calls, sending and receiving SMS.
New GTR 2 eSIM is already available in China. First-time buyers will get the watch at a reduced price of $ 290, and then it will go up to $305.
Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM received a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454×454 pixels, a BioTracker 2 PPG sensor, GPS and GLONASS, NFC. They support 90 sports modes, continuously monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), sleep periods and quality, and so on. The manufacturer promises up to 96 hours of battery life in “normal” mode and up to 14 days in simple clock mode.
